A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Patience has a major in Fine Arts and a minor in Public Speaking. She has over twenty years experience as a certified Fine Arts Instructor in Wisconsin, Florida, California, and Colorado, and served as the University Arts Instructor at the Instituto Allende in Mexico. Patience owned and operated the Cheyenne Fine Arts Academy here in Colorado Springs for five years. Her artistic talents combined with her teaching experience, allow her to recognize the individual's creative level and steadily guide them toward their chosen goals.
Patience is represented by Hayden Hays Gallery in Colorado Springs, Colorado and C. B. Brownhouse in North Carolina. She is listed in the Penrose Public Library Special Collections Clipping File and has been an instructor to Happy Rockefeller. She is a member of the Chromatic Edge, founded my Marianne Bransby, and is a member of Pikes Peak Plein Air Painters. Patience was recently invited to exhibit 21 of her paintings for the World Theater V.I.P. Benefit event held June 28th, 2006 in the new Broadmoor West Residence. Her recent work can be viewed in the Broadmoor Brownstone Model "Gallery" along with other artists also represented by the Hayden Hays Gallery. Patience is founder of "Art on Location" which has been serving the five star Broadmoor Hotel with instructional services in the fine arts since 1999.
Patience is a professional artist in a wide range of mediums including painting, fabric design, photography, and has exhibited in private and public shows from California to Florida. She has been commissioned for a variety of fine art work, from painting portraits to designing the gown for the 1988 winner of the Mrs. Florida Pageant.

"Inner light paints the outer view. Vision within makes the outer vision possible. Inspiration never starts with the subject, it is born in thought. Starting with the inspiration of an idea unfolding moves the hand to meet the heart and a painting appears."
